Iris Rosa Dance Studio in Indianapolis, Indiana, exposes and educates participants to various dance and music genres to expand understanding of history, culture, and community.
Housed within the Iris Rosa Dance Studio, Seda Negra/Black Silk Dance Company (SNBSDC) utilizes a fusion of dance genres and expressions to tell stories and explore political, social and cultural narratives, as well as lived experiences of people in the African Diaspora.
SNBSDC is a performing company comprised of dancers representing diverse backgrounds and professions. The company shares stories and artistry with the Indianapolis community and beyond through performances and workshops.
