During her time in undergrad, Bernadette, also known as Bernie, had the privilege to study a variety of different dance styles including various modern dance techniques, Afro-Cuban, Haitian, Ballet, Bharatnatyam, aerial silks, along with several styles of Latin and African Diasporic dance. Most recently, she performed in and wrote music for Must Come Down in Brooklyn, NY. Apart from dancing, she plays fiddle and sings in the Bloomington based band, Magnolia, teaches English as a new language, and loves to spend time outside hiking or gardening.
